For services I always wait a year to post a review a year had passed. We hired Adel home service last summer to install new service line from our main box in the basement to our pool. Ray and his sone showed up and they were the lowest bidder. Ray the owner was extremely knowledgeable and very very aware of what is needed as far as the service and the requirements for the pool bonding and grounding to obtain the permit which he applied for . The work was done professionally and on time . Ray and his son took the extra steps in repairing and installing 2 outlets around the house free of charge. I spoke to this man Ray on Monday, March 26, 2024. We made an appointment for Thursday, March 29 between 8:30 and 9:30. I had asked him if it could be any later and he said absolutely not that I needed to be ready at 8:30. I put the information in two different calendars on my phone. So there’s no question we had an appointment for which I was ready at 8:30. At 10:30 I decided to try and give him a call and I got a text message saying “sorry I am busy today”. I was totally shocked and aghast. I planned my whole day around this electrical appointment. I wanted a light installed outside my front doorway. He completely denied ever making an appointment with me. He said I had the wrong person. He said he writes things down. He probably uses invisible ink because we had an appointment And he did not keep it. Nor did he call me and tell me that he would not be able to make it. He was just going to ignore me. There is no doubt in my mind that he will respond to this review with some ugly words, and some accusations, which will be untrue because he’s a very defensive man.
